TCS Students at BMS had a Native American Symbol Project in Ms. Egan's Multimedia Arts class. Students researched a Native American symbol and created a Canva presentation. They used nonfiction books, resources from the North Carolina Museum of History, attended an online zoom and live feeds relating to North Carolina Native tribes, and participated in collaborative groups. #TCSYes

It's that time of year again where we call upon our community's generosity to give some of our students a great Christmas! If you would like to sponsor a BMS student please use the Sign Up Genius link provided.
Please wrap all presents and place them in a big black trash bag to keep everything contained when you turn them in. Please label both the presents and the bag with the student's number. We are asking that presents be turned in to BMS no later than Monday, December 9th.
Thank you for supporting our students during the holidays.

We will reassess the situation as the week progresses and send out further information on Friday, Oct. 4 for the following week. For community feeding information, please look at Transylvania County Facebook or tune in to WGCR or WSQL. Let's continue to be better together and support one another. Please share this information with your neighbors and help us spread the word. Take care and stay safe.
There will be no school on Monday, September 30th. We will provide an update tomorrow as we receive more information. Stay Safe.
