BMS faculty and staff wishes our students
and their families a wonderful summer vacation.
See you in August!

Welcome 6th Graders!
welcome
BMS would like to welcome you with a day of fun orientation activities. You will have an opportunity to meet new friends, interact with the 6th grade teachers, participate in team building activities, and learn about how to be the best BLUE DEVIL you can be! We will also have a cookout/picnic for lunch with games in the gym and outside on the field!

Orientation is on Tuesday, August 12 and Wednesday, August 13.  You will attend ONE DAY assigned as follows:
Last Names starting with letter A-M: Tuesday, August 12
Last Names starting with letter N-Z: Wednesday, August 13
If you are not able to attend the day you are assigned, you can select the other day. Orientation is not required but is recommended to help your child feel comfortable in their transition to the middle school setting.

Activities will start at 9:00am and end at 2:00pm. A cookout/picnic lunch will be provided at 1:00 and family members are welcome to attend.  Drop off and pick up will be in the back of the school by the gym. Students will meet in the media center to start the day.

We are looking forward to a great school year!
If you have any questions, please contact the school at 884-2091.
Thank you!

Way to go, Armando and Zoe!
Armando     zoe

6th Graders Armando R. and Zoe R., pictured with their teacher Jen Sensabaugh, each won different writing contests sponsored by Scholastic, Inc. for "Action" magazine.  Armando wrote an essay on solving the environmental issue of too much technology trash in our society.  Zoe responded to an article that asked students to compare the nutritional value of popular snack foods in America to insects as snack food.
We are proud of these fantastic writers!
